Overview

Muscovy uses a minimal set of cookies to operate the service. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and your choices. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website or application. Cookies help the Service remember information about your visit to provide functionality and maintain sessions.

Cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies:

1. Essential / Authentication cookies

Purpose: Store the authentication session so you can stay signed in, access your account, and perform actions within Muscovy securely.

Duration: session cookies (removed when you close your browser) or persistent session cookies with a short expiration (configurable by the application).

2. Preferences and functionality cookies

Purpose: Store interface preferences and support certain in-app features (for example, UI preferences, expanded/collapsed state, or last-seen location within the app) to improve your experience.

Duration: persistent for a reasonable period to retain preferences across sessions (configurable).

No analytics or advertising cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics, profiling, advertising, or third-party tracking. No third-party analytics providers or advertising networks are used in the default demo configuration.

Third parties

We do not embed third-party trackers that set cookies. If you integrate optional third-party features or plugins that set cookies, those cookies are subject to the third party's policies. Review their privacy/cookie policies before using such features.

Your choices

- Browser controls: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies from Settings or Preferences. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features of Muscovy.
- In-app controls: You can sign out to remove active authentication sessions. Preferences stored in cookies may be reset by clearing cookies or using available account settings if provided.

How we protect cookie data

Authentication cookies are protected using secure practices (for example, TLS for transport, HttpOnly and Secure flags where applicable, and sufficiently random session identifiers). We minimise the amount of personal data stored in cookies.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy. We will post the revised date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users through the app.
